I can't handle skating for another year in skates that suck or are too loose or make my feet feel like they are on fire...I just want to skate without thinking about my skates.
I just want to think about derby, skills, technique, posture, blocking, jamming...The distraction that my skates are causing is a serious issue.

This Sunday I am participating in a Walk For Farm Animals benefitting Farm Sanctuary, an animal rescue association, specifically rescuing animals that are used in farming industries.

The walk is for an excellent cause. I am excited because this is my first public activism since transitioning from vegetarian to vegan. I'm excited to meet other people with similar ethics and philosophies.

All I can say is that the leaves are falling off the trees and I like the crunchy sound they make when I step on them.
Also Fall is a good time for playing acoustic guitar. Trust me!
